The 38mm (1.5") Forestry Quick-Connect Shutoff Valve provides convenient on/off water control at individual Quadpod sprinklers or along a compatible wildland hose line.
Installed between the supply hose and Quadpod sprinkler, the valve allows crews to open or close the water flow without disconnecting the hose or shutting down the complete sprinkler system. Individual sprinklers can be isolated, repositioned or taken out of service while the remaining system continues operating.
Its large quarter-turn handle provides quick operation and clear visual confirmation of the valve position. All-aluminum construction delivers a lightweight, corrosion-resistant fitting suitable for wildfire response, structure protection and temporary water-supply systems.

Operation
Connect the valve between the 38mm forestry hose and the Quadpod sprinkler inlet. Turn the handle one-quarter turn to open or close the water supply.
Important: Open and close the valve gradually to reduce water hammer. Ensure the pump system has suitable pressure-relief or bypass protection before closing multiple sprinkler valves while the pump is operating.
